St. Petersburg is set to experience varied weather conditions during the first weekend of August, with thunderstorms on Saturday giving way to sunnier and warmer weather on Sunday.

On Saturday, the city will see cloudy skies with clearings, and the possibility of brief rains and thunderstorms in some areas. Temperatures are expected to range from +22 to +24 degrees Celsius during the day, following a nighttime low of +17 to +19 degrees Celsius. The wind will shift from southeast to southwest, blowing at 4–9 m/s, with gusts possible during the day. Atmospheric pressure will rise to around normal levels at 760 mm Hg.

Sunday will bring a change as a high-pressure system moves in, leading to partly cloudy skies and no precipitation. Nighttime temperatures will drop to +15 to +17 degrees Celsius, but the daytime will see a rise to +26 to +28 degrees Celsius. The wind will be a gentle south wind at 2–7 m/s. Atmospheric pressure will continue to increase, reaching above-normal levels at 764 mm Hg.
