Starting June 7, road repairs, tram track maintenance, traffic light upgrades, and utility work will cause closures and restrictions in seven districts of St. Petersburg. The State Administrative and Technical Inspection (GATI) of St. Petersburg issued a warning about these changes on June 5.
In Vasileostrovsky District, traffic will be restricted on Morskaya Embankment from Pribaltiyskaya Square to Novosmolenskaya Embankment and from Flagmanskaya Street to Nalichnaya Street, including intersections, until August 31. This is due to road repair work.
Vyborgsky District will experience a road closure on Toreza Avenue from Yesenina Street to Rashetova Street, including intersections, from June 7 to 8 for road repairs. Detours will be available via Muzhestva Square, 2nd Murinsky and Institutsky Avenues, Kurchatova Street, Polytechnicheskaya and Novorossiyskaya Streets, Orbeli and Jacques Duclos Streets, Svetlanovsky and Tikhoretsky Avenues, Engels Avenue, Rashetova Street, Severny Avenue, Lidinskaya and Gdanskaya Streets, Toreza Avenue and Yesenina Street. Additionally, traffic restrictions are already in place on Toreza Avenue from Muzhestva Square to Engels Avenue until June 30, and the side passage on the even-numbered side of the avenue from Manchester Street to Svetlanovsky Avenue is closed until June 10.
In Kurortny District, specifically in Sestroretsk, Tarkhovsky Lane will be closed from Tarkhovsky Avenue to Sovetsky Avenue until June 18 to allow for the installation of a sewer network. A bypass is available via Tarkhovsky Avenue, Zhukov Lane, Sovetsky Avenue, and 3rd Poperechnaya Street.
Nevsky District will see traffic restrictions near house 120, building A, on Obukhovskoy Oborony Avenue, as well as at the intersection of Obukhovskoy Oborony Avenue, Chernova Street, and Bertovsky Lane, until June 30 for traffic light modernization.
In Petrogradsky District, traffic will be restricted at the intersection of Novoladozhskaya and Pionerskaya Streets until July 5 due to the construction of a traffic light.
Primorsky District will have changes to previously announced road repair schedules. From June 7 at 8:00 AM to June 23 at 5:00 AM, traffic will be restricted on Lipovaya Alley from Primorsky Highway to the railway crossing and on Torfyanaya Road from the railway crossing to Bogatyrsky Prospekt, including intersections. Furthermore, Torfyanaya Road from Optikov Street to Bogatyrsky Prospekt, including the intersection with Sitsevaya Street, will be closed from June 7 at 8:00 AM to June 9. Detours are available via Staroderevenskaya Street, Optikov Street, Torfyanaya Road, Zausadebnaya and Polevaya Sabirovskaya Streets, Bogatyrsky Prospekt, Planernaya Street, Savushkina Street, Dibunovskaya Street, Pokrysheva Street, Primorsky Prospekt, and Shkolnaya Street.
Lastly, in Frunzensky District, a section of Voronezhskaya Street at the intersection of Rasstannaya Street will be closed from June 7 to 8 for tram track repairs. During this time, two-way traffic will be introduced on Voronezhskaya Street from Prilukskaya Street to Rasstannaya Street. Detours will be available via Rasstannaya Street, Ligovsky Prospekt, Prilukskaya Street, Borovaya, Dnepropetrovskaya, Kurskaya and Tambovskaya Streets, Obvodny Canal Embankment and Rasstanny Lane. It is also noted that traffic is currently restricted on Rasstannaya Street from Borovaya Street to Rasstanny Proezd until June 9.
