St. Petersburg is bracing for another week of rain, with residents and tourists alike longing for sunshine and warmer temperatures. According to forecasts, the much-desired warmth is not expected anytime soon.
The city’s chief meteorologist, Alexander Kolesov, stated that temperatures are unlikely to reach +25 degrees Celsius in the near future. He indicated that there is no point in expecting higher temperatures than that for now.
Kolesov suggested that warmer weather may arrive in the second half of June, possibly even in the third decade of the month. However, he emphasized that it is too early to make definitive predictions, and for now, residents can only hold onto hope.
Today, June 9th, St. Petersburg is expected to receive approximately one-third of its average monthly rainfall. In certain areas of the city, precipitation could reach up to 25 mm.
