A St. Petersburg resident contacted police on Wednesday morning after a man at a bus stop made threats and extremist statements. The incident occurred around 9 a.m. near house number 84 on Peterhofskoye Shosse.

Victoria, whose name has been changed for privacy, was waiting for a bus when a man, seemingly agitated about missing his bus, began acting erratically. He initially attempted to damage a timetable stand.

The man then approached Victoria and started a conversation, revealing he was in a hurry to get to the hospital. Upon learning of the delay for the next bus, he reportedly expressed a desire to kill and made other threats against Russians, potentially violating laws against extremism and terrorism.

Victoria attempted to distance herself from the man, but he followed her. He only stopped when other people approached the bus stop. The man then engaged in a similar conversation with another woman, repeating the same concerning statements. He ultimately did not board the bus when it arrived.
