A 36-year-old man is under investigation for vandalizing a trolleybus in St. Petersburg. The incident occurred on Svetlanovsky Prospekt on the night of May 28th, when the man allegedly used a stick to break two windows of a trolleybus that had stopped at a bus stop.
The suspect, identified as Zhora, was apprehended by police officers near the post office on Demyan Bedny Street around eleven o’clock in the morning on May 29th. He was then questioned about the incident.
A criminal case for vandalism has been opened. The suspect was released with an obligation to appear in court. Preliminary information suggests that he has no prior criminal record. The incident took place in the Kalininsky district, while the suspect is a resident of the Krasnogvardeysky district.
