The St. Petersburg Metro has implemented entry restrictions at the “Gorkovskaya” station due to a surge in passenger volume. The restrictions were put in place starting at 7:42 AM.

The increased traffic is attributed to the Eid al-Adha holiday. Thousands of Muslims are gathering at the Cathedral Mosque on the Petrograd side to celebrate.
