St. Petersburg has seen a significant number of high-achieving graduates in this year’s Unified State Exam (ЕГЭ). According to the city’s education committee, 236 students achieved the maximum score of 100 points across the chemistry, literature, and history exams.

Chemistry proved to be the subject with the most perfect scores, with 139 students attaining the highest mark. Literature followed with 90 students earning 100 points. History saw five students achieve a perfect score.

The exams for these three subjects were administered on May 23.

Officials clarified that these results are preliminary. There are designated reserve days and opportunities for students to retake one subject.

In 2024, 41 students from St. Petersburg scored 100 points in chemistry, while 88 achieved the maximum score in literature.
