St. Petersburg is preparing for a significant deterioration in weather conditions, as announced by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The city is expected to experience localized heavy rains, thunderstorms, and winds gusting up to 17 meters per second on August 1. This forecast comes from the Federal State Budgetary Institution “North-West UGMS.”

Currently, the city is experiencing hot weather, with temperatures reaching up to 30 degrees Celsius. A cooler weekend is anticipated following the expected storm.
