St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region Weather Forecast: Dry and Sunny Conditions Expected

St. Petersburg is experiencing dry and sunny weather today, June 4th, according to Chief Meteorologist Alexander Kolesov.

The clear skies stretch across a vast area, providing excellent visibility. The westerly wind will keep temperatures moderate, reaching around 20 degrees Celsius in the city center and slightly cooler near the bay.

Looking ahead, rain is expected on Thursday, June 5th, with an atmospheric front arriving around lunchtime. The rain is anticipated to be moderate and will cease by Friday night. Despite the rain, temperatures will be warmer, ranging from 22 to 24 degrees Celsius.

Friday afternoon, June 6th, is forecasted to be dry again in St. Petersburg.

The Leningrad region’s weather is more complex due to a passing cyclone. Heavy rains are possible in the south and east of the region on Friday night, with potential thunderstorms. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation.
