A six-year-old boy is hospitalized after falling from the fourth floor of a building in Berdsk on June 9. The Investigative Committee for the Novosibirsk Region is currently investigating the incident.

The child was at home with his parents when the incident occurred. An ambulance was immediately called, and he was taken to a hospital for medical treatment.

The Investigative Department for the city of Berdsk has initiated a criminal procedural investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fall. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward.

In light of this and a similar recent case in Novosibirsk, investigators are reminding adults to never leave young children unsupervised and to ensure child safety by installing window locking mechanisms.
