Seventy-Four St. Petersburg Graduates Score Maximum on Russian Language Unified State Exam

Seventy-four graduates in St. Petersburg achieved perfect scores of 100 points on the Unified State Exam (USE) in Russian language. The city’s education committee announced the results on Monday, June 16, noting that nearly 29,000 students participated in the exam.

The average USE score for Russian language in St. Petersburg was 63.2. A significant number of students, over 4,600 graduates, achieved high scores ranging from 80 to 100 points.

To date, thirteen St. Petersburg graduates have attained the distinction of scoring 200 points on the USE, reflecting exceptional performance across two subjects. Results for five subjects have been released thus far.

Students from various districts, including Vasileostrovsky, Vyborgsky, Kalininsky, Krasnoselsky, Petrogradsky, Frunzensky, and Central, as well as the Presidential Physics and Mathematics Lyceum No. 239 and the Academic Gymnasium No. 56 named after M. B. Pildes, secured top scores in two USE subjects.

Previously, it was reported that 40 St. Petersburg graduates achieved perfect scores in mathematics. The average city score in specialized mathematics was 64, exceeding the national average.

In other subjects, including chemistry, literature, and history, 236 students in St. Petersburg earned the highest possible score of 100 points.
