A 7-year-old boy was hospitalized after being struck by an unknown driver in the Central district of Novosibirsk. The incident occurred at 3:00 PM on Sovetskaya Street, near building number 50, according to the Novosibirsk State Traffic Inspectorate.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the driver, operating an unidentified vehicle, was traversing the courtyard when the vehicle hit the child. The boy was reportedly crossing the road from left to right, relative to the vehicle’s direction, at the time of the collision.

Following the incident, the injured child was promptly transported to a medical facility for treatment. Authorities are currently working to determine the full circumstances surrounding the event.

This incident follows a previous report involving a Toyota Land Cruiser driver who allegedly struck a woman on a beach in the Zheleznodorozhny district before fleeing the scene. That driver was later reportedly sighted in another location. Details regarding that earlier accident are still under investigation.
