Ognjen Mimovic, a Serbian defender, is set to return to Fenerbahce following the conclusion of his loan spell with Zenit St. Petersburg. The St. Petersburg team’s press service announced his departure on May 30.

During his time with Zenit, the 19-year-old made limited appearances, playing in only six matches and accumulating just 107 minutes in the championship. He saw minimal playing time after the beginning of April.

Mimovic’s most significant contribution to Zenit was his participation in both legs of the RPL Path of the Russian Cup semi-final against Rostov, where he was included in the starting lineup.

He joined Zenit on February 12, 2025, and prior to that, he played for Crvena Zvezda, where he achieved success by winning both the Serbian Cup and the league championship. He also scored a goal in the Champions League qualification during his time with Crvena Zvezda.
