In Novosibirsk, Russia, two previously convicted men have been detained in connection with the murder of a security guard and the theft of equipment from a factory. The incident occurred on June 2, prompting an investigation by the regional Investigative Committee.

The investigation revealed that the two men entered the factory grounds at night, where one of them fatally attacked the security guard, inflicting multiple knife wounds to vital organs. The employee died at the scene as a result of his injuries.

Following the attack, the perpetrators stole a passenger car belonging to the security guard, as well as computer equipment, a truck, and various construction-related equipment owned by the organization.

The detained men are being held under Article 91 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation. A criminal case has been opened, focusing on charges of murder and robbery. Authorities are currently deciding on a preventive measure for the suspects.
