A scooter rider was involved in an accident on Rosa Luxemburg Street in Yekaterinburg this evening, June 9. According to an eyewitness report, the incident occurred when the scooter rider unexpectedly entered the roadway.

The driver of a car traveling in the middle lane reacted quickly to avoid a more serious collision. The driver’s reaction prevented injuries, though the vehicle sustained damage.

Members of the Russian Guard who were in the vicinity responded to the scene to investigate. An ambulance also arrived at the location, but fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Traffic police officers were dispatched to the site of the accident. The Sverdlovsk State Traffic Inspectorate was notified of the incident.
