Salary Delays Plague Giprosvyaz-4 Design Company in Novosibirsk

Employees of the design company “Giprosvyaz-4” in Novosibirsk have faced significant salary delays, with one employee reporting not receiving full pay for as long as six months. The State Labor Inspectorate in the Novosibirsk Region intervened and confirmed the violations, assisting the affected employee.

The labor inspectorate confirmed the violations of labor laws and the existence of wage arrears at JSC “Siberian Institute for Research and Design of Communication Facilities Giprosvyaz 4” after an employee reported the issue. A warning was issued to the company, and the employee was provided with guidance on protecting their labor rights.

The employee, identified as Galina, stated that the problems began approximately five years ago. She claimed that while some employees who complained managed to receive partial payments, others have endured the situation without pay. Galina, who has worked at the company for 30 years, supplemented her income with an unofficial job.

The State Labor Inspectorate reported that JSC “Giprosvyaz-4” paid the employee 207,159.9 rubles in May 2024, restoring her labor rights. However, Galina confirmed that while she received a portion of her owed salary, approximately 80%, the company still owes her 90,000 rubles.

In 2023, the prosecutor’s office of the Novosibirsk region reported that 137 employees of the organization were not paid salaries for March and April of that year. The total debt exceeded 11 million rubles, leading to a representation made to the general director, after which the debt was repaid to the employees.

JSC “Giprosvyaz-4” specializes in engineering surveys, engineering and technical design, construction project management, construction control and supervision, and technical advice. Founded in 2002, the company’s revenue in 2021 was 158 million rubles, with a net profit of 4 million rubles. Financial information for subsequent years is not publicly available.
