An S7 Airlines flight en route from Novosibirsk to St. Petersburg made an unscheduled landing at Koltsovo Airport in Yekaterinburg on June 11 due to a passenger experiencing a medical issue.

The airline’s press service confirmed that flight S7-5003 diverted to Yekaterinburg because of the passenger’s poor health.

Medical personnel are currently examining the affected passenger.

S7 representatives indicated that the flight is expected to resume its journey to St. Petersburg shortly.
