This recommendation follows the bridge collapse on the night of June 1st, which involved a train traveling from Klimovo to Moscow.
The updated guidance was reportedly shared with passengers on a Klimovo to Moscow train on the night of June 2nd. A conductor informed passengers that the new instructions were issued in response to the recent tragedy.
The incident in the Bryansk region involved the blowing up of a bridge while a train was in motion, resulting in the derailment of carriages.
The Bryansk region governor, Alexander Bogomaz, reported the incident. The tragedy resulted in seven fatalities, including the driver and two children, and over one hundred injuries.
