The Russian crime action movie “High Season,” directed by Stas Ivanov, is set to premiere simultaneously on the Okko and START online cinemas on June 11, 2025. The film, entirely shot in Vietnam, promises a blend of intrigue, action, and scenic Asian landscapes.
The plot centers around a young couple, Misha and Anya, vacationing in Vietnam. Their idyllic getaway takes a dark turn when Anya vanishes on the eve of their departure, following a meeting with her presumed-dead ex-boyfriend, Sahar.
Driven by the local police’s apathy, Misha embarks on a desperate search to find Anya. His investigation uncovers that Anya’s disappearance is rooted in a concealed past she deliberately kept hidden from him.
The movie “High Season” was filmed in multiple cities in Vietnam. The filming locations include Phanrang, Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh City.
