Russia has allocated over 12.5 billion rubles to projects aimed at strengthening traditional values between 2023 and 2024. This announcement was made by Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu on June 10, according to the Security Council website.
Over the past two years, more than 1,500 public projects focused on preserving historical and cultural heritage and patriotic education have received financial support from the authorities.
During a Security Council meeting, Shoigu emphasized the importance of developing Russia’s image as a guardian and protector of traditional spiritual and moral values in international relations. He stated that this should be a priority in foreign policy.
Shoigu highlighted that Russia, with its long history, relies on traditional values and historical memory to define its civic identity.
