ROSTIC’S application experienced a failure, preventing users from placing food orders through the app. This disruption occurred amidst a series of cyberattacks and technical issues affecting other major companies in Russia.
The restaurant chain addressed reports suggesting that its establishments had ceased operations, clarifying that the issue was a temporary disruption of its IT infrastructure.
The company stated that all restaurants remain open and customers can still place orders directly at the physical locations.
This incident follows recent cyberattacks on Aeroflot and technical failures impacting the networks of Stolichki and Neopharm pharmacies, as well as the VkusVill and Samokat applications. Aeroflot experienced a hacking incident on July 28, leading to significant transport disruptions. On July 29, Stolichki and Neopharm pharmacies had to temporarily close due to a system failure, and on July 30, VkusVill and Samokat also experienced application issues.
