Road surfacing on the overpass of the left-bank interchange of the bridge across the Ob River in Novosibirsk is progressing, with the top finishing layer of the pavement 74% complete, covering 23,230 square meters.

Currently, the primary focus of road infrastructure development for the bridge is on the left bank of the Ob River, where the overpass of the main road stretches almost 1200 meters and is estimated to be 97% ready. Workers are laying asphalt concrete on several spans and one of the exits to direct traffic from the toll collection point to the left-bank interchange.

In addition, road workers are continuing to pour concrete for the foundations of acoustic screens, which will total over 2000 meters in length. Road surfacing work is also ongoing in the 95-meter tunnel under the Trans-Siberian Railway, where the lower layer of asphalt concrete has been laid in both directions.

On the right bank, the area for the construction of the pylon has been largely cleared, with plans to landscape the “Urban Beginning” park there during the summer.

Overall readiness of the bridge and all exits is estimated at 84.4%, while the bridge crossing itself is 98% complete.
