Police in the Leningrad region are currently searching for a driver who allegedly engaged in a road rage incident involving gunfire and pepper spray. The incident occurred in the Vsevolozhsky district.

According to reports, a 39-year-old resident of St. Petersburg contacted the police around 7 p.m. yesterday to report the incident. The man claimed he was attacked by an aggressive driver on the Ring Road (КАД).

The complainant stated that the driver of a black Ford Explorer abandoned verbal communication during a traffic jam between the junctions with Koltushskoye and Murmanskoye highways. The aggressive driver allegedly sprayed pepper spray from his car window and then fired several shots from an air gun.

The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region has confirmed that they are investigating the incident and actively searching for the individual responsible for disturbing public order. Authorities are considering initiating a criminal case.

It has been confirmed that the complainant did not require medical assistance following the incident.
