A road bridge collapse in the Bryansk region on the night of June 1st derailed a passenger train traveling from Klimov to Moscow, killing seven people, including two children and the driver, and injuring almost one hundred. The incident occurred when the bridge debris fell onto the train as it passed underneath.

Video footage from inside the train reveals widespread devastation, with carriages almost completely destroyed. Seats are barely recognizable amidst the scattered debris.

Specialized Fire and Rescue Unit (SPSCH) personnel are actively working at the site of the incident.

The Governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, has stated that the bridge was blown up as the train was moving.

Families of the deceased will receive 1.5 million rubles each, while the injured will receive 300,000 or 600,000 rubles depending on the severity of their injuries.
