Rescuers in Novosibirsk are urgently seeking homes for several kittens abandoned in a private sector slated for demolition. The kittens, found in a vulnerable state, are now under the care of a local resident who is working to socialize them.

The kittens were discovered in an area undergoing demolition, leaving them without shelter or care. A local woman named Evgenia has stepped in to care for the animals.

According to Evgenia, the kittens were initially very fearful and wary of human contact. “At first, it was even impossible to pick them up, they hissed and struggled,” she explained. However, with patience and care, she has made progress in socializing them. “Now you can carefully pet and even hold them.”

The kittens have undergone express blood tests to ensure they are free of deadly viruses. Following the tests, the kittens were neutered.
