Rescuers in St. Petersburg discovered an injured owl during a routine check of the fire water supply system and provided it with immediate care. The bird, found with a damaged wing and feathers soiled with fuels and lubricants, was struggling to move.
The owl was spotted by firefighters from the 50th fire and rescue unit while they were conducting a scheduled tour of the district. Recognizing the severity of the bird’s condition, the team carefully wrapped it in a blanket
