A 44-year-old resident of Kolpino, recently released from prison, has been detained again for committing lewd acts against teenagers. The man was previously convicted in 2021 of similar crimes against minors.

Law enforcement officers from the juvenile department of the Criminal Investigation Department apprehended the suspect. He had been released from prison in May 2024 after serving a 5-year sentence for lewd acts against boys under the age of 14.

Despite being monitored with an electronic bracelet by the Federal Penitentiary Service (FSIN), the man allegedly committed new offenses in November 2024 and March 2025 against two 15-year-old teenagers.

A criminal case has been initiated by the district department of the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee, and the suspect is currently in procedural detention.
