Reopening of the Modernized “Admiralteystvo” Pier After Reconstruction

The modernized “Admiralteystvo” pier in St. Petersburg has reopened following reconstruction, enhancing the city’s water transport infrastructure. The revamped pier now boasts modern metal pontoons, replacing the old concrete structures.

These new pontoons offer improved safety, maintainability, and durability. The mooring lines have also been connected and metal pontoons were installed.

The reconstructed pier features an increased pier front, allowing it to accommodate a larger number of vessels.

Earlier in May, the “Summer Garden” pier also resumed operations after undergoing reconstruction.

Valentin Enokaev, Chairman of the Transport Committee, emphasized the significance of the pier reconstruction, calling it “a significant step in the development of water transport in St. Petersburg.”

According to Enokaev, the renovated piers meet the latest standards of safety and comfort.

The implementation of video surveillance and remote access control systems will further optimize operations at the pier.

The modernized piers are accessible to all shipping companies and private ship owners.
