The Ministry of Digital Development of the Novosibirsk Region has issued recommendations for citizens in the event of mobile internet disruptions. These guidelines aim to help residents prepare for and manage situations where mobile internet access is limited or unavailable.
Experts advise citizens to remain calm and avoid unnecessary worry. They also suggest proactively managing finances by paying for services through alternative means such as Wi-Fi or wired networks. It is also recommended to print important documents or take screenshots of essential information in advance.
Sergei Tsukar, the Minister of Digital Development of the region, emphasized that the disruption of mobile internet does not affect the functionality of payment terminals and ATMs that are connected via Wi-Fi or wired networks. These services will continue to operate normally even during mobile internet outages.
The need for these recommendations arose after Novosibirsk residents experienced the first mobile internet failure in June.
