A Ukrainian drone strike on a gas station in Belgorod resulted in the death of one civilian and injuries to four others. The attack caused the complete collapse of the gas station building, impacting an area of 50 square meters. At the time of the incident, two salespeople and three customers were present.
Separately, drones reached the cities of Nizhnekamsk and Yelabuga in the Republic of Tatarstan, flying near residential areas. Residents reported hearing explosions, and the mayor of Nizhnekamsk confirmed the activation of air defense systems over the city. Authorities confirmed there were no casualties or damage, and business operations were not disrupted.
In other news, the Russian police force is undergoing changes to its uniform regulations, effective June 10th. These updates include an increase in the provision of lightweight everyday suits (from one to two sets) and a reduction in wool suits (from three to two). Additional items now included are a demi-season jacket, lightweight trousers, a kimono, and athletic shoes. Female officers will receive a pillbox hat and boots, replacing the peaked cap and half-boots, respectively. The type of footwear issued will be dependent on climate and seasonal factors. Modifications have also been made to shoulder boards and removable muffs. The main color of the police uniform transitioned to dark blue in 2013 from its previous dark gray.
