Rape of a Young Turkmenistan Citizen in a Hotel on Goncharnaya Street

A 22-year-old Uzbek national has been detained in St. Petersburg after being accused of raping an 18-year-old Turkmen student. The incident allegedly occurred in a hotel room on Goncharnaya Street.

The victim, a student at the Pediatric University, claims she met the suspect, identified as Dilshodbek, in a store on June 13th. After exchanging numbers, they met again the following day.

According to the victim, Dilshodbek picked her up from the university and took her to the Gallery shopping center where he bought her a cola. She reports feeling unwell after consuming the drink.

Dilshodbek then suggested she rest at his place but instead took her to a hotel on Goncharnaya Street. By this point, the victim claims she was losing consciousness.

In the hotel room, the victim alleges that Dilshodbek sexually assaulted her, despite her pleas and inability to physically resist. He then called a taxi for her after the incident.

The victim immediately confided in her classmates, aunt, and brother, who then confronted Dilshodbek at the store on Alexandra Matrosova Street and detained him. Police were called and arrived at the scene.

It was discovered that Dilshodbek is in Russia illegally, and a protocol has been drawn up against him. The Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee is now considering initiating a criminal case.
