Train traffic has been suspended in the south of the Voronezh region following an incident on the railway on June 5. According to Voronezh region Governor Alexander Gusev, a train driver spotted minor damage to the tracks.
No injuries have been reported.
Emergency services and a railway emergency recovery team are at the scene investigating the cause of the incident.
Initial reports suggest the incident occurred on the railway tracks between Evdakovo and Saguny. Authorities are working to determine the cause of the damage.
Several trains have been temporarily halted as a safety precaution while the investigation and repairs take place.
