A technical issue with the air conditioning system at the “Baden Baden Uktus Therme” thermal resort in Yekaterinburg led to a temporary queue forming outside the complex on Tuesday. Visitors were asked to wait outside while the issue was being resolved.
The press service of Baden Family stated that the term “queue” was not entirely accurate, explaining that the wait was due to the air conditioning malfunction in the hall. Guests were asked to wait outside for about ten minutes to avoid discomfort from the heat while the repairs were underway.
The incident occurred during a workday, with many visitors, including families with children, arriving at the resort. According to a Telegram channel post, some visitors experienced a 25-minute wait and were informed about the unavailability of women’s bracelets and lockers.
Baden Family highlighted that they have two other summer locations in Yekaterinburg: Cuba Cuba on the shore of the Upper Iset Club and “Shartash Beach.” Queues have been reported at these locations during peak periods such as holidays. The owner of the company previously acknowledged the challenge of managing crowds, noting that demand often exceeds the complex’s capacity of 1500 people.
Another large thermal complex in Yekaterinburg, “Yuga,” recently underwent preparations for the summer season and was closed for a week in May for maintenance.
