A cyclone is currently forming over southern Finland and is heading towards the Leningrad Region, bringing with it worsening weather conditions. Precipitation is expected to begin tonight in some areas, escalating into showers and thunderstorms.
The adverse weather is expected to continue throughout the day on Friday, June 20. Wind gusts may reach up to 15 meters per second overnight. However, residents can anticipate improved conditions by the afternoon of June 20, with precipitation ceasing.
Temperatures will be notably low for this time of year, ranging from 15 to 17 degrees Celsius during the day. A return to the usual temperature of 20 degrees Celsius is expected by the weekend.
