Two schoolgirls from Prokopyevsk, aged 13 and 16, are under investigation after filming themselves abusing and mutilating animals, actions which have ignited public outrage in the Kuzbass region. The videos, posted on social media, depict the girls mocking dead animals, disemboweling corpses, and boasting about their actions.
Police have identified the girls and drawn up protocols against their parents. The teenagers now face preventive registration with the police for their disturbing content creation.
The footage includes graphic depictions of animal cruelty, such as a schoolgirl describing killing a frog with a knife. Other videos show the girls playing with animal skulls, removing organs from corpses, and desecrating gravesites by stealing sweets and posing with monuments.
Kuzbass residents who viewed the footage expressed disgust and demanded police intervention. Concerns were raised about the girls’ mental health and the potential influence of disturbing online trends.
This incident follows a similar case in Omsk, where underage girls filmed themselves abusing a puppy, further highlighting concerns about animal cruelty and disturbing behavior among young people.
