St. Petersburg is gearing up for its annual “Scarlet Sails” festival for graduates, with rehearsals already underway on the Neva River. The first rehearsal took place on Wednesday, June 11th, featuring the passage of the brig “Russia” under the city’s drawn bridges.
Spectators can anticipate another rehearsal on June 12th, with bridge openings scheduled along the Neva. The Blagoveshchensky Bridge will be raised from 20:50 to 21:40 and again from 1:35 to 2:20. The Palace Bridge and Trinity Bridge will both be raised from 21:40 to 2:15.
Mostotrest has noted that the bridge opening schedule for rehearsals is preliminary and subject to change.
This year’s “Scarlet Sails” festival is scheduled for June 28th, commencing at 22:00. A general rehearsal is planned for June 27th.
