Red Square is currently undergoing preparations for a large-scale Russia Day celebration, set to take place on June 11th. A concert featuring famous Russian artists is scheduled for the event.

The area surrounding the Mausoleum and the State Historical Museum has been fenced off. Crews are actively assembling the stage and setting up musical equipment.

Tents have been erected near the Kremlin in preparation for the installation of grandstands.

The Russia Day concert on Red Square is scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM on June 11th. The lineup includes SHAMAN, Alexander Rosenbaum, Valeria, and other popular Russian artists. Last year’s performers included Polina Gagarina, Oleg Gazmanov, the Lyube group, Sergey Lazarev, Nikolai Baskov, Grigory Leps, and Larisa Dolina.

Prior to these preparations, many people gathered at the entrance to Lenin’s Mausoleum on Red Square, as the memorial complex is scheduled to close for extensive restoration work until 2027.
