Extensive power outages have been reported in both the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions following shelling attributed to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Officials in both regions confirmed the incidents, prompting emergency response measures.

The Zaporozhye region experienced a complete power outage after Ukrainian attacks damaged critical high-voltage equipment. According to Governor Evgeny Balitsky, the regional Ministry of Energy is urgently working on establishing backup power sources.

Healthcare facilities in the Zaporozhye region have already been switched to backup power to maintain essential services.

In the Kherson region, a partial power shutdown occurred due to a massive UAV attack. Governor Vladimir Saldo reported the attack and announced a missile alert in the Genichesk district.

Currently, specialists are working to restore power in affected areas of the Kherson region.

The Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant is operating normally, with no reported violations and a stable radiation background.
