Massive power outages in the “Lilia” and “Beregovoe” garden societies (SNT) in the Pervomaisky district of Novosibirsk are the result of poorly maintained equipment. JSC “RES” reported this information in response to inquiries.

The issues stem from inadequate equipment maintenance and failure to comply with regulations during the construction of the power line. The power grid company stated that it had sent requirements to SNT representatives to rectify the violations, but received no response.

“RES” clarified that they are unable to intervene in the operation of equipment owned by the SNT.

According to the company, “Rosseti Novosibirsk” lacks the legal authority to interfere with consumer-owned power grid facilities. The company stated that the owners are responsible for all operational and maintenance activities, which must be carried out in accordance with regulatory and technical documentation requirements.

Over the past year, residents of the SNT have submitted more than twenty complaints concerning power outages.

This summer, hundreds of families in the Pervomaisky district experienced several days without electricity. SNT representatives attribute the interruptions to the energy suppliers; NGS investigated the causes of the power outage.
