A new music venue may be opening in Moscow at the location of the former “Mutabor” club, which was later known as “Arma”. The Private Persons music label has hinted at the possibility with social media posts and branded ribbons surrounding the venue.

The Private Persons label’s website suggests this is more than just a launch, but rather a celebration of a “new era” with a countdown to begin soon. The “Mutabor” club, which was later renamed “Arma”, has been closed.

The music magazine “Kley” reports that the Private Persons team took over the venue after the last party at the Arma club, which ended on April 29. The label allegedly received the entire building, including the furniture and equipment.

“Mutabor” had been operating since 2019, created by the Arma17 promo group. The venue was known for hosting electronic music events and parties. In March 2024, it was renamed “Arma” and subsequently closed due to alleged violations of sanitary and epidemiological requirements, following a controversial event.

The Private Persons music label was founded in 2016 and represents artists from the electronic music scene. In addition to music, the label has also been producing capsule clothing collections since 2020.
