Pavel Vymenets has been appointed as the head of the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee for St. Petersburg. The appointment was made by Decree No. 368 of the President of the Russian Federation on June 3.

Vymenets previously served as the head of the Western Interregional Investigative Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
