A passenger sustained injuries on a Novosibirsk minibus after a sudden braking incident. The event took place in the Sovetsky district the previous day, as reported by a witness on the “Akademgorodok Community” VKontakte page.
According to the report, the passenger on minibus No. 52 hit their head during the abrupt stop. The injured individual requested assistance, but the driver allegedly did not halt the vehicle, provide first aid, or contact emergency services. The passenger then exited at the subsequent stop and sought medical attention at a pharmacy.
The carrier for minibus No. 52 is listed as IP Malinkin A.V. on the TsUGAET website. The director of the enterprise stated that the incident happened near the “Computing Center” stop. According to the director, the driver was slowing down to stop at the passenger’s request, when the passenger claimed to have hit their head. The director questioned whether the injury occurred inside the minibus, suggesting it could not be definitively proven.
The director indicated that the passenger disembarked on Morskoy Prospekt, and the driver continued on the route. Alexey Malinkin stated that the injured passenger has not contacted the company. He advised the individual to obtain a medical certificate and then contact the insurance company, as the vehicle is insured.
The press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region has been contacted for comment. In a separate incident in Novosibirsk in 2024, two minibus passengers were hospitalized following a collision caused by a driver’s improper lane change into a parked truck.
