A section of the support structure covering at the Dimitrovsky Bridge exit in Novosibirsk has partially collapsed, leading to fallen bricks and sand spilling onto the pedestrian path. The incident was reported on June 9th by a local resident, Ksenia, who noticed the damage while riding an electric scooter.
The Road Complex Management of the Novosibirsk Mayor’s Office attributed the collapse to foundation erosion caused by recent heavy rainfall.
MКУ “Gormost” has been notified and repair work is scheduled for the affected section of the bridge. This incident follows a previous collapse of a retaining wall on Ippodromskaya Street, for which the Mayor’s Office has already announced a restoration timeline.
