Partial Closure of Kuibysheva Street in St. Petersburg for Tram Track Repairs

Kuibysheva Street in St. Petersburg’s Petrogradsky district will be partially closed to traffic from June 2 to July 7 due to phased tram track repairs. The State Administrative and Technical Inspectorate (GATI) of St. Petersburg announced the traffic restrictions on May 30.

During the specified period, traffic will be restricted on Kuibysheva Street from Kamennoostrovsky Prospekt to Sampsonievsky Bridge. In the opposite direction, passage will be closed from Sampsonievsky Bridge to Chapaeva Street, up to house number 32.

The intersection of Kuibysheva and Chapaeva streets will also be closed for the duration of the repairs.

Additionally, changes will be implemented on the Petrogradskaya embankment. Traffic will be closed at the intersection with Sampsonievsky Bridge, from Penkovaya Street to Pinsky Lane. Turning onto the bridge will be restricted to right turns only.

From June 16 to 28, traffic traveling from Pinsky Lane to Penkovaya Street will only be permitted to proceed straight along the embankment, with no turns allowed onto Sampsonievsky Bridge or Kuibysheva Street.

Furthermore, a temporary two-way traffic pattern will be introduced on Trinity Square, specifically on the section from Kuibysheva Street to Petrovskaya Embankment.

GATI advises drivers to pay close attention to road signs and exercise caution, and to plan their routes in advance.
