A 1.4 km park is set to be created on the Uktus embankment in Yekaterinburg, along the Iset River, stretching from Lyzhnikov Street to Pavlodar Street. The project, approved by the Council for the Development of Public Spaces, is still subject to adjustments.
The park will feature children’s and sports grounds, bicycle paths, recreation areas, an amphitheater, three access points to the water, and observation platforms. Additionally, plans include the construction of two pedestrian bridges.
The project renderings were presented by “Efes,” the company also responsible for constructing a residential quarter in Uktus. The development aims to enhance the public space along the riverbank.
Previously, plans were announced to improve the embankment in the city center near the Olkhovka River.
