A parking lot in Moscow was temporarily cordoned off after a seemingly dangerous object was discovered under a BMW X6, but it turned out to be an ordinary stamp. Sapper units were called to the scene on Molodogvardeyskaya Street earlier today after security forces became aware of a suspicious item.
The area around building 30, building 1, was quickly secured as a precaution. Authorities initially deployed a robot to inspect the object before specialists carefully removed it.
Upon closer inspection, the “dangerous object” was identified as a common stamp. The origin of the stamp and how it ended up under the vehicle remain unknown.
In a separate incident today, another parking lot on Lesi Ukrainki Street in western Moscow was also cordoned off. Law enforcement officers focused their attention on a car-sharing vehicle after a bomb-like object was found beneath it.
Earlier in the day, a car park near the Troparevo metro station on Leninsky Prospekt was also sealed off due to a suspicious object located under a white Toyota Land Cruiser Prado SUV.
