A criminal case has been opened against Denis Allayarov, the editor of the URA.RU department, for allegedly bribing a police officer to obtain operational reports. Law enforcement officials initiated the case following Allayarov’s detention and interrogation without legal representation, as well as searches conducted at the URA.RU editorial office.

The searches were part of a broader investigation into the abuse of power by police officers. Journalists, including Allayarov, Sergey Bodrov, and Anna Salymskaya, were questioned as witnesses.

Evidence found on the editorial office’s computers suggests journalists were purchasing operational reports from police officers. This situation may be connected to the detention of a former police officer in March 2025 for transferring official information.
