Olga Soroka’s Head Buried in Nizhny Tagil While Body Remains Missing

The head of 42-year-old Olga Soroka, found on April 7 on the outskirts of Serov, was buried in the central cemetery of Nizhny Tagil. Her body is still missing.

Olga’s uncle reported that the burial has taken place, but an official date of death is not established, only the year 2024. He also mentioned that while he suggested cremation, Olga’s husband opted for a traditional burial, with a coffin of considerable length.

Alexander Gook, Olga’s former colleague and a lawyer, stands accused of her murder and the murder of her young son, Lesha. Investigators allege Gook dismembered Olga’s body and disposed of the remains in a landfill.

To date, only Olga’s head has been recovered. The search for Lesha’s remains continues, but nothing has been found. The uncle stated that the boy is still listed as missing.

Alexander Gook is currently in custody and faces a potential life sentence if convicted of the double murder. The court has ordered his detention until June 17, as the investigator believes he might conceal the remaining bodies if released.
