Eighty-two Ukrainian drones were destroyed by Russian air defense systems between 2:30 PM on June 6th and 12:00 AM on June 7th Moscow time, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The drone attacks targeted eight regions, including Bryansk, Belgorod, Kursk, Orel, Tula, Ryazan, Kaluga, and the Moscow region.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin stated that six drones were shot down over the Moscow region since the evening of June 6th. He reported that there were no casualties and emergency services are at the crash sites.
In the Kursk region, acting governor Alexander Khinshtein reported that drone fragments damaged the facade of a building, a water supply pipe, and an electric loader.
Authorities advise citizens who spot a drone to immediately call 112 and provide their name and address, along with a description of the drone’s appearance, behavior (hovering or flying), silhouette, flashing lights, and the sound it makes.
Individuals should leave the area where the drone was detected and warn others if possible.
If a drone is found on the ground, it should not be approached or touched. Instead, authorities should be notified by calling 112.
