The number of injured individuals following the bridge collapse in the Bryansk region has risen to 110, including five children. This information was reported on the morning of June 3rd, according to emergency services.
Currently, 65 injured individuals remain hospitalized, including four children. The death toll remains unchanged at seven.
Earlier reports indicated a rise in the number of injured from 97 to 104 on the previous day. Health officials report that 53 injured individuals are still in hospitals, with six patients, including one child, in serious condition.
The road bridge collapsed in the Bryansk region on the night of June 1st, with debris falling onto a passenger train traveling from Klimov to Moscow. The regional governor stated that the bridge near the Vygonichi station was blown up.
On the same night, a bridge also collapsed in the Kursk region while a freight train was crossing it. The wagons derailed, and the driver and two assistants sustained injuries.
The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has classified the bombings of both bridges as terrorist attacks.
